Objetivos

MAG has committed to reducing its absolute greenhouse gas emissions by 45% by 2030, using its verified FY2024 carbon baseline as the starting point, and to reaching net zero by 2050. Delivering this target will require sustained reductions across MAG’s main emissions hotspots, particularly fuel use, procurement, energy systems and business travel. MAG intends to complete a full carbon inventory every two business years, monitoring key Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 business travel emissions on an annual basis. Further details can be found in the documents below.

  • MAG Global Climate and Environment Strategy sets out the organization’s commitment to reduce the environmental impact of its operations while strengthening how climate and environmental risks are managed across programs.
  • MAG 2024 Emissions Profile   The global emissions synthesized the global baseline report showing the operational hotspots, with fuel use, procurement and business travel accounting for the largest share of the organization’s carbon footprint.
  • MAG 2024 Carbon Baseline Report provides MAG’s first verified global picture of emissions across programs and support offices, helping identify where reductions will have the greatest impact and where targeted investment, policy changes and operational improvements are needed.
