The ICRC has adopted a plan of action to implement the Climate and Environment Charter. The plan is arranged into three interconnected focus areas that reflect our institutional priorities. The three areas are:

  1. Integrating climate and environmental risks in all our programmes;
  2. Reducing the ICRC’s environmental footprint, notably through reducing our greenhouse gas emissions by 50 percent by 2030, and;
  3. Conducting policy and legal development and engagement on climate and the environment.
